Mediation
Ready to end the tug of war?
Whether you are entrenched in litigation or handling pre-suit claims, Ann's experience in representing both sides makes her uniquely qualified to relate to both employers and employees when navigating the potentially thorny path to successful resolution of disputes. She has a crystal clear understanding of the costs - tangible and intangible, monetary and emotional - to both sides in a traditional lawsuit.
Dispute Resolution Within the Organization
Employer Sponsored DRP - Ann has served as outside mediator in numerous matters arising within an employer-sponsored Dispute Resolution Program. Frequently these employees or ex-employees are not represented by counsel. Ann's background with the EEOC and as a plaintiff attorney aids in developing rapport and facilitating resolution.
Employee Conflict - Ann works with employers to assist with increasing understanding among factions within an organization or between two particular employees.
Mediation Training and Experience
Ann has been mediating since 2007. In addition to attending the Professional Skills Program at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University School of Law, and the University of Missouri School of Law's Civil Mediation Course, Ann serves as a contracted mediator for the Missouri Commission on Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
